Snow Day!
I thought you all might be interested to know that we are having a snow day here on the campus of GBS! After snowing heavily last night, we woke up to about 3-4 inches of snow! Even as I write, I can hear the sound of the maintenance crew cleaning away the wretched stuff that has forbidden us to go to our classes, nevertheless, with our own two feet! Ha Ha! I suppose they think our feet would melt! If you don't hear from me soon, I might have gotten stuck in a drift somewhere or we might be buried up to the third floor windows with 2 inches of snow! Sadly, I won't be able to live up to the example of Ranger Bill, today and be a "Warrior of the Woodland, struggling against extreme odds, traveling dangerous trails, fighting the many enemies of nature....Pouring rain, freezing cold, blistering heat, snows, floods, bears, rattlesnakes, mountain lions. Yes, all this in exchange for the satisfaction and pride of a job well done." Oh well, maybe another day! Therefore, I must bid you a wonderful day, as I must catch up on my sleeping! Don't worry, if I do brave the Ice Age conditions outside today, I will be extremely careful to not get stuck in the 3-4 inches that have accumulated! Weirdly enough, I am beginning to like the craziness of these "southern" people! But at least nobody rushed to Wal-Mart and bought all the bread and milk!
