Christmas Break 2009-2010

Hi!

This christmas break was a lot of fun! I invited Grace and Gloria Ji home with me.

It started out with a Christmas Keeling concert and a trip to Kings with friends! Then on Sunday, our church had a live nativity in the parking lot, which was a lot of fun and pretty cold too. There was also a very stubborn donkey that ended up taking a bite out of one of the angel's wings! Monday morning was a sad day, but on Wednesday night our church went Christmas caroling. That was fun and again...very cold! Christmas was really awesome and we got everything we ever wished for! :0) Well, maybe not quite!

Dad got gifts, too! ;0)

Our poor living room after all the damage was done!

Two times over break, we got to eat Korean food for supper and it was really cool. Grace and Gloria are good cooks!

After Christmas was a whirlwind of activity! On Saturday we went ice skating in Meadville.

Then, church on Sunday, a trip to Cranberry, shopping, eating, bowling and a movie on Tuesday.

The next day, Wednesday, was full of shooting clays, riding the 3-wheeler and rollerblading.

Me shooting the muzzleloader! It was SOO fun! :0)

Thursday was New Year's Eve and I started the day out with McDonald's and 4-wheeling, then came home for a Korean meal and a huge party at our house! We partied hard and ate lots of delicious food, complete with fiery hot Cheese ;0)

We also had christmas with the Russell's!
In the end, we shot the guns to bring in the New Year for a full 20 minutes!
Later, we even found out that some expert marksman shot the fence in two!

The next day was New Year's Day and I had fun doing some pretty extreme sledding down an awesome hill and also behind a 4-wheeler, while other people practiced barrel rolls on the turns! ;0) Then it started to snow pretty bad and we headed for Long John Silver's. Later that evening, I had a blast with a huge group of friends and my family at the Stoneboro school gym for some dodgeball and volleyball!

Grace and Gloria relaxing!
On Saturday, amidst the bad weather, we had taco's for lunch and then headed to Meadville to watch "The Squeakquel." After that, a trip to Wal-mart and McDonalds, before some bowling in Cochranton with friends!

Sunday was pretty much a normal day except that it was our last full day home, so...the rest of the family that was still there came over for lunch. It was fun and home food is absolutely the BEST ever! :0) Church that evening was a sad time, because we had to say goodbye to all our friends! Then Monday, we drove back to Cincinnati! The whole break was a lot of fun and I'm glad I had the opportunity to make new friends and have a blast at home! Now it's back into the rush of things here at GBS. I think this semester will go fast, though! However, I won't be able to go home for more than one night the entire four months! :0( Oh well, it'll be summer before I know it and I'll be a Junior here a GBS! Ahhh... now that's a thought that just needs to be thought on for a while! Hope you all have a wonderful 2010!

Kimberlee
